Hola! I hope everyone is enjoying all the hustle and bustle that comes with the Christmas season. I would like to say that as of a few hours ago today, both of my trees are up and there is quite a bit of holiday spirit up in here. So last night was a legendary night.....seriously epic. Every year the med school throws an awesome Christmas party and this is obviously my last year. All of our friends did the usual 'thang: dressed up, ate dinner at The Herd Cafe, and partied 'til we were too drunk to go on. So every year us girls in the class choreograph a dance and then it is put up on YouTube: we've done Beyonce, an MJ montage, and this year was Gaga!!!!! And by far the best of all our years....I'd like to quote my friends and I..."We just get better with age."

I've been really busy these past couple of weeks, so I just took pics of random eats and a really pretty salad that I've eaten almost daily.
Those are my hubby's famous black beans and rice.....they are the bomb. No one can replicate them and obviously they taste the best when he makes them for me spontaneously.
